Hull Respray on a Pilot Cutter

The Pilot cutter has been a returning customers of JWS for some years, during this lift-out the owner opted for a number of items to be carried out, the main 2 being the re-spray of the hull and also the re-varnishing of the mast.

Once she was moved into the shed we taped and prep the hull for spraying by tenting off the super structure.

The hull was then sanded, then cleaned to removed and dust partials from the hull we then applied 4 coats of 545 Primer.

A second sand was carried out and the hull was re-taped where required, followed by a hull clean down before applying 4 coats of Awlgrip top coat.

The hull was then de-taped and a new name transfer applied.
